Those that have made a Cursillo weekend know how special
palanca can be. For those who are unfamiliar, palanca is a means
of supporting those who are attending a weekend. It can be in
many forms; such as, prayer, fasting, volunteering to assist at
Cursillo meals, assisting with the candidates family at home or
writing a note of encouragement to the candidates. No thank

yous are ever necessary or expected for palanca, it's just the
cursillistas way of displaying the unconditional love of Jesus
Christ.

If you would like to send a general note of encouragement to
the entire group at a specific Cursillo weekend, you can submit it
to the e-mail link below and it will be posted at the weekend for
the candidates to read. Please include the dates of the weekend in
the subject line of the e-mail :
