This year, we salute the following for long years of service to Cursillo: Bill Brown, Sr., Lou and Kathy Loreno, Tim and Beth Cyphert, Steve and Missy Orr, Gerri Leonard, John Matson, Jean Merryman, Ed Niebauer, Harry Risinger, Mary Owens, Tom and Mary Beth Danowski, Eric and Sarah Dolph, Tina Matson, Amanda Glaspell, Jim and Lisa Hamilton, Herb Palmer and Doug Yarbenet. We plan on reducing expenses by reducing the number of newsletters distributed by regular mail, confirming current addresses, and making the Cursillo Newsletter “as paperless as possible”. We need everyone to update their contact information in order to do this. A data entry team has gone back approximately four years to Men’s Cursillo #186 and Women’s Cursillo #192 which is when we began taking e-mail addresses, and this information has given us a starting point for our database. This is the only information in our database thus far, so you will have to provide your contact information if you do not fall in the above mentioned Cursillos.
Also, if your contact information has changed since then, we will need you to provide the updated information. We will not be transferring any contact information prior to these Cursillos. In order to be listed on the Cursillo Census and continue receiving your Cursillo Newsletter you need to update your contact information with the Cursillo office in one of two ways:
Please note that this new process for distributing the Cursillo Newsletter will be effective March 15, 2009 in time for the April Newsletter distribution. So, please forward your updated contact information for our Cursillo Census as soon as possible. Also, we ask that you do not call the Cursillo office with your contact information, as this will only complicate the data entry process. You will need to either e-mail or mail in your updated information as stated above. We appreciate your help with updating our Cursillo Census, and also for helping reduce expenses for the Cursillo Movement. Thank you in advance for your cooperation – DeColores!

Heard at the Last Closing:
Ř “I actually cried with joy.”
Ř “I became a much better poster designer.”
Ř “All the fear I had was replaced with love.”
Ř “I have never cried so deeply and laughed so loudly!”
Ř “I’ve been fighting the Lord and the Lord won!”
Father Bill’s Comments: As I write this, it’s snowing outside! Surprise, surprise! We are in that time of year often called the “Tunnel Months” and are experiencing “Cabin Fever”! What can we do to break the cycle? We can liven these days up with the grace of God. Here are the steps to follow:
Next thing you know, Spring is here and you’ve turned the “Tunnel Months” into “Glory Days” not only for you but for your friend and “Cabin Fever” is gone for good.
So, don’t let the snow slow you down, get out there and get candidates, it will help you as much as it does them.
